Julia McPeek - Fiddler Extraordinaire

A talented fiddler, Julia McPeek hails from Athens, Georgia.   Julia's strong fiddling and clear voice have already been heard around Athens and Atlanta where she's performed both in sessions and with local bands Banish Misfortune and the Border Collies.

Her Scots-Irish heritage and her years of classical violin performance lend her a keen edge in both Irish and Scottish fiddle styles.   One of Julia's other ventures is 'Fiddle-n-Blarney', featuring Celtic myth and storytelling, and she has recently begun playing with the group Póg!.
